PROGETTARE LA STRATEGIA ATTRAVERSO IL CONTROLLO DELL’ASSETTO COMPETITIVO

Abstract

The paper aims to present a model usefully to define a strategic project for competitive firm. Furthermore, the present study is based on recent strategic thinking with reference both to structural approach, «Resource Based View» framework and more operative references, which recently emerged from practitioners. The research is based on two main assumptions. First of all, every firm, who is acting a competitive behavior, assumes a competitive status, which is the result of the relation among
strategic choices, results and the endowment of resources. Secondly, competitive status varies during time through the strategic project, which finally orients the optimal configurations selected by management. The paper examines the key features that constitute competitive status and analyses strategic project process.
